It's been a hot second I believe. Only 3 months but that's still not an insignificant amount of time is it.

How are you?

How's life?

What have you been up to?

Melting in the sun, or thriving?

(feel free to actually reply and answer these)

As for myself, I can barely remember what I was up to 3 months ago, I'm literally having to go back to my previous email, look through photos, and my calendar events to remind myself what has been happening in my life.

Okay, so I've just read back on my previous email.

I really didn't tell you what was happening in my life at all, it was an abstract one wasn't it... huh.

BIG NEWS

I think I finally figured out what my karaoke song is!!

Or at least I've narrowed it down.

Personally I'm loving ABBA's 'Money x3' as my option (bit cliché I know) but me and my friend Bess have been loving a duo performance of 4 Non Blondes' 'What's Going On'

(snippet below)

oh yeah, I also hosted my first gig!

I've started a series of events under the name 'Joe's Bedroom Sessions' where I invite people into my literal bedroom to listen to me + other musical guests perform while enjoying some nice food drinks and just all round good vibes.

My first guest was the most wonderful and talented Clara Moschetta, a good friend of mine.

Here's a little look at the night

Meeeeee and a very wide lens

If anyone would be interested in coming along to one of Joe's Bedroom Sessions in the future just reply to this email and let me know!

Also on the music front I've been chugging away working on tracks nice and consistently.

My goal at the moment is to release 5 songs that I am really reaaaally proud of, and for now I'm not bothering with any marketing or social media campaigns etc. etc. you all know how that makes me feel so let's just skim over that part of things.

But it's going well.

Making some stuff that is getting me way too excited to get it out there.

Yes, it's a little daunting still thinking about all the work that has to go into it but what I'm writing and recording just feels so right.

I'm basically at the end of the creative stage for one called 'girl in the sun'

And I'm almost finished on another called 'battered, bruised, and sore'.

I also had one of my busiest weeks in a long time last week, partly music related, partly life related.

I got to take a day trip and tour round a winery south of London which was the most luxurious I've felt in a while; lots of champagne, fancy cheeses, vineyards by the sea etc, etc.

I also performed at a mini 'festival' party out of London which was so much fun and came about in the most unexpected of ways.

I'm almost certain you all know that I work in a restaurant as well as my music life, and I met these wonderful customers about a year ago.

One of the women mentioned she was putting on a family party in like a years time and asked me to play and then somehow it actually came into fruition.

I've not played live much recently and this was such a nice outdoor summer setting for it.

However, by the time it got to Monday I don't think I'd ever felt more tired in my life, I could barely lift up my own limbs or keep my eyes open for more than 3 minutes.

I should probably stop typing soon, this is going on a bit longer than expected.

But I just want to let you know I'm still manifesting, I'm still trusting, and I'm still excited.

(also I think I almost got recruited into a cult?? or maybe mormonism??)

Here are some more snapshots of my life since we spoke.

(also there may be a little something for you at the bottom)

Lots of love,

Joe xx

(feel free to reply, with whatever you have to say)
